The Perfect Morning Routine

What does your perfect morning look like? From the moment you open your eyes to the moment you step outside your door, what are the steps you can take to create a seamless, stress-free morning to start your day on the right foot?

The saying goes that we will always make time for the things that are important to us. At one point in my life, that one thing was a morning workout. Now and even moreso as a parent, that one thing is a big, hot, cup of coffee.

Good Habits

Cultivating good habits can send ripple effects to all areas of your life, from your physical health, to mental health, even friendships, your relationship or your relationship with your children.

Still wondering if your morning needs a makeover? Here is a blog post to get you started.

Write it Down

So what is that one thing that you can do to make or break your day?

Once you have identified that one habit that you want to incorporate into your day, think about how you can fit it into your perfect morning. If it helps, put it down on paper. Maybe your perfect morning includes a hot shower, or a hot breakfast. Maybe it includes a gym workout or a phone call with a loved one. It could be making time for morning devotions or to answer personal emails.

Refine Your List

However that list looks, it’s important to focus on what is important to you and how it can fit into your everyday morning routine. Your perfect morning is just a dream until you put it into reality, and the first step to change is knowing where you are and where you want to be.
